Dwelling in the Word (Luke 3:7-18)

    1. Before Sunday, find a reasonably friendly stranger or two (e.g., friend, housemate, neighbor, co-worker, etc.)
    2. Read Luke 3:7-18 aloud together.
    3. Pause and notice. A) What word or phrase caught your imagination? B) What would you ask of a Biblical scholar?
    4. Listen again, to each other. Where did God nudge your reasonably friendly strangers? What did they hear in the passage?
