Ichtheology 2015

This year’s Ichtheology gathering was held the last week of July.  One of the participants, Dr. Elaine Heath, co-founder and leader of the Missional Wisdom Foundation and McCreless Professor of Evangelism, Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, had this to say about her experience:

Ichtheology 2015 was a beautiful and challenging experience that combined deep theological reflection, conversation focused on missional ecclesiology and practice, and an immersion in the natural beauty of Yellowstone National Park. Unlike typical academic conferences, this gathering provided ample space and time for contemplation, yet the intellectual work was rigorous. I especially appreciated the theological diversity represented in the participants. Some of the most rewarding conversations happened not during formal class settings but while hiking with colleagues.

Gathering with like-minded theologian/practitioners was deeply inspiring and renewing. I am so grateful to have been able to participate in Ichtheology this year and look forward to returning in the future.
