About Church Innovations

Church Innovations is a non-profit organization devoted to renewing the Church’s focus on God’s mission in the world. Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and wholly committed to following God’s leading for every congregation, we provide research and consulting tools, products and processes that increase your church’s capacities to experience God’s renewal and transformation.

Our work crosses denominational and geographical lines and is grounded in two decades of research. Over the years we have worked with more than 1,000 congregations, 75 national and mid-governing bodies, and two dozen denominations in seven countries and across all 50 United States.

Since our mission is innovating your capacities to be renewed in mission, we are accountable to:

Scripture and Tradition: We regularly practice Dwelling in the Word, exploring together where our chosen passage, Luke 10:1-12, captures our imaginations, provokes questions, and relates to our work and mission.

Research in the Field: Church Innovations is, at heart, a research institute. We work with leaders in many locations, inside and outside congregations, as they journey to understand their church bodies’ roles in God’s mission and in their own communities.

People We Serve In Mission: In order to fulfill our mission, we depend upon our continuing relationships with satisfied customers who purchase products, attend trainings, or visit our web site.

Board of Directors: Our board of directors, comprised of Christian clergy and laity from several denominational backgrounds, keeps us focused on our mission and develops Church Innovations’ direction and strategy.

Allelon Church Innovations Publishing

In partnership with Allelon, Church Innovations launched Allelon Church Innovations Publishing in 2005. This publishing company offers online and in-book resources from Church Innovations’ staff and affiliated consultants, as well as other leading authorities in the missional church movement.
