Director
of Fund Development Karen Stack, Director of Fund Development, works with the President and Board of Directors to establish and implement the organization’s plans for developing financial partners among congregations and individuals who share CI’s vision. Mrs. Stack is a businesswoman with over 10 years of experience in small business and nonprofit management. She has a B.A. in Organization Management from Metropolitan University in St. Paul, MN. Prior to establishing her own business in 1990, Karen worked extensively in government and politics. She served on the staff of Minnesota Governor Al Quie, and later became Executive Director of the Independent-Republican Party of Minnesota. Karen’s record of community volunteer work includes 10 years as a Board Member for Luther Seminary FRIENDS; membership on the state task force for Justice Fellowship; and advisory committee work for the Union Gospel Mission’s Naomi Family Center in St. Paul. She and her husband Barry live in Stillwater, MN. They are long time members of Trinity Lutheran Church where she has served on the Congregational Council, taught second grade Sunday School and been an adult Bible study leader. |
