Consultant Stephanie Lutz Allen is a catalyst and team builder whose life is dedicated to partnering with God’s work of transitioning the church into the 21st Century, enabling the church to fulfill its purpose as a participant in God’s mission in the world. Stephanie holds a Master of Science from San Jose State University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Seminary, Pasadena, CA. She is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry in Congregational Leadership for Mission at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN. Through these studies, she has examined organizational change issues from both a theological and social science framework. Ordained Presbyterian (USA) in 1990, she brings the experience of an associate pastor and co-pastor at two churches who sought to reconnect the gospel within their context, that of young families in Gilroy and the University community in Minnesota. In both contexts, she helped each congregation discern God’s calling anew, and what changes might be needed to implement the vision. As an associate at Gilroy, she successfully helped the church reverse their aging trend, and attract a new generation of young families. Prior to that, she worked as a campus minister at the University of Minnesota with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She holds a B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara in Communications and Religious Studies. A pastor at heart, Stephanie is an inspirational preacher, published in The Best Stewardship Sermons, RSI Publications. |
