Consultant Mark uses his 17 years of experience in congregational ministry and 6 years of teaching at the Graduate School of Theology at Abilene Christian University (ACU) in both the MDiv and DMin programs to work with congregations and congregational clusters, helping them move toward missional innovation. The courses Mark taught at the Graduate School of Theology focused on evangelization, missional ecclesiology and cultural change within congregations. As the Director of Ministry Events at Abilene Christian University Mark directed congregational enrichment programs, including the annual Bible Lectureship, Elderlink Northwest, Northwest Expositor's Seminar, Lectures on Preaching, Summer Workshops, and Ministry Summit. He was the director for ACU's participation in the Gospel in Our Culture Network (GOCN) “Congregations and Their Systems” project from 2003-2005. Mark’s academic degrees include a BA and a MA (Christian History) from Abilene Christian University; an MDiv from Pepperdine University; and a DMin from Abilene Christian University. He is currently working on a PhD in Congregational Mission and Leadership at Luther Seminary. |
