Director
of Consulting Reverend John Mueller Nowell is a pastor in the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. In his 25 years as a local United Methodist pastor, John served small and large congregations in rural, large city, suburban and urban settings. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westmar College and a Master of Divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Since 2000 John has been appointed by his denomination to serve as a consultant/facilitator to help congregations of all denominations with visioning and revitalization. As the Director of Consulting at Church Innovations John use his years of pastoral experience to help leaders of congregations and mid-level church bodies articulate their need for outside assistance in their vision/mission discernment process. When CI is chosen to partner in such a process with a congregation or a judicatory, it is John’s responsibility to assign the CI Associated Consultant with the best ministry skills for that particular need. |
