Member The Reverend Wesley Granberg-Michaelson was installed as general secretary of the Reformed Church in America at the 1994 General Synod. He had previously served for six years on the staff of the World Council of Churches (WCC) in Geneva, Switzerland where his responsibilities included serving as director of Church and Society and serving as moderator of the task force on relations with evangelicals. A graduate of Hope College he served for eight years on the staff of U.S. Senator Mark O. Hatfield of Oregon and from 1976 to 1980 served as managing editor of Sojourners Magazine. Granber-Michaelson is author of three books and numerous magazine articles, which have appeared in publications including Perspectives, Christianity Today, The Christian Century, and Ecumenical Review. |
