Secretary
of the Board Secretary of the Board, Professor Marie Failinger teaches at the Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, MN. She previously practiced health and welfare law at Legal Services Organization Indiana (LSOI) where she also directed projects on lay advocacy and community development. She has a J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law, a LL.M. from Yale Law School, and has been a visiting fellow at the University of Chicago Divinity School. A member of the Indiana and Minnesota bars, Professor Failinger is one of the founders of Church Innovations Institute. Her record of community service includes serving on boards of groups that focus on poverty law, legal services for the poor, arts and the law, adoption, community housing, children and the law, and American Indian policy. Currently she serves on the Board of the National Equal Justice Library, which she helped found and is coeditor of the Journal of Law and Religion. |
