For five Monday nights this fall (October 26 to November 23, 2009), Church Innovations will teach some of the most important habits for congregations who want to thrive in God’s mission. Here are some of those habits:

    • How to Dwell in the Word of God with one another
    • How spiritual discernment can be made a habit in your work groups, church council or governance board, or even congregational meetings
    • How we cannot rely on quick fixes but instead need to learn to change our congregation’s very culture in order to grow into God’s call
    • How to do deep listening interviews in a congregation and in its surrounding community
    • How to listen, experiment, and focus your church’s resources to change its life

This course will be taught by Dr. Pat Taylor Ellison and Pastor John Mueller Nowell. We invite congregations to send a TEAM of attendees to the series. In fact you can bring one free person for every five you register. Pastors are welcome but not required to attend.

The capacities you build in this five-week course, along with the relationships that you form within your team, will be an asset as your church moves into the future better equipped to respond to change and distraction.

We thank our host church, Roseville Lutheran Church, for its hospitality. Please register on the Church Innovations website: http://www.churchinnovations.org

See you in Roseville!
