Have you planned to join us at the spring conference? The Sustaining Missional Leadership Conference will engage and further the conversation among denominational leaders involved in leading missional congregations, or supporting missional initiatives at system or judicatory levels. Church Innovations in collaboration with Allelon has brought together experienced leaders working in missional judicatories to share processes that have effectively guided missional change in their systems, talk about their learning and how it can contribute to and enhance the experiences of other systems – we believe in learning from very excellent mistakes – and from the wisdom of our partners!

The format will include:

  • Overview plenaries from Patrick Keifert and Alan Roxburgh,
  • System presentations by the Mennonite Church USA, Presbyterian Church USA, Churches of Christ, and Reformed Church in America,
  • Small Group breakout sessions to process the things we are learning,
  • Worship – a time to celebrate and share.

On Friday morning, we will provide a four hour block of time for individual denominations to meet in their own small groups to conduct business appropriate to their system and for others to meet as a group to determine helpful ways to advance the missional conversation in their systems.

There is still space available for the conference – and we invite you to join us – or to extend this invitation to others that want to get started in the missional conversation, those currently pursuing the conversation in their systems, or those that have been involved and have learning to share!
