For over 20 years Church Innovations Institute has partnered with churches to help find their place in God’s mission. Our mission statement is “innovating your church’s capacities to be renewed in God’s mission.”

We believe that God is doing wonderful things in the world, and in this day churches must discern what God is up to and find their place within God’s work. We can help churches do this because we combine theologically-framed social scientific research methods with solid and ever deepening consulting work that is based first on listening to God and to one another and second on taking action that connects them to the neighbor God is sending them to. We don’t believe that quick fixes can help us build Christian community with others in God’s mission, so instead we build solid relationships with our church partners (local churches, larger church bodies, schools, and organizations) for the mission of God for the long haul.

2010 has been financially challenging for many; CI is no exception. We covet your support more than ever. Please consider a gift in support of this important work. If you wish to make a gift using a check, a credit card or your PayPal account, click on this link or on the "Support CI" link at the top of any page on the regular CI site and follow the instructions. If you wish to make a donation using stocks send an e-mail to gpearce@churchinnovations.org for information on how to accomplish that.

As an added bonus, for every gift of $50 or more given to Church Innovations Institute between now and the end of the year, we are pleased to offer a copy of our just released book Crossing the Bar: Home by Another Way for 40% off the regular price. Many of the stories in this challenging book, written by Jim Johnson, have appeared in abbreviated form in past CI newsletters. We are delighted to now have them collected in book form. The 40% off coupon will be included with your donation receipt.

Peace,

Gary Pearce
