Partnership for Missional Church (PMC) Gets New Managing Director

We are excited to announce a new Managing Director of the Partnership for Missional Church: Pastor Johannes Gerhardus Swart (Jannie). Jannie comes to us from being senior pastor of a very large innovative congregation in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was involved in all the phases of PMC South Africa. Jannie has begun Ph.D. work at Luther Seminary in Congregational Mission and Leadership. He also has been deeply involved in the Allelon-funded Missional Engagement with Western Culture International Think Tank. He is a perfect fit to lead PMC as it continues to grow as an international movement.
At the same time, we want to thank Kris Stache for her excellent leadership in PMC during her time as a Ph.D. student in Congregational Mission and Leadership. Kris has accepted a tenure eligible faculty position at Wartburg Seminary and although we will miss her greatly, we look forward to her extending our work there. It is our hope that she will continue to work on PMC staff, especially in materials and notebook development.
