Dwelling in the Word – the spiritual practice of deep listening to the Word of God and to one another over time – is happening in places all over North America, southern Africa, Europe, and the UK. Church Innovations will bring folks from all these areas together for a weekend, and we want you to join us!
Come and Dwell in the Word with folks from many countries, many perspectives, and many histories in Minneapolis, Minnesota, June 14-16, 2013. We want to hold a place for you to come and be filled and empowered to Dwell in the Word in vibrant new ways. There will be food, some major speakers, a concert, and special panels to talk about how Dwelling helps groups of various sizes and purposes focus on God’s call to them: large assemblies, congregational small groups, youth and their parents, and even children! Come refresh and energize one another as we share our stories and learn from folks who are Dwelling in the Word in in many ways.

Twin Cities, Minnesota - our hosts will be three different west metro churches, starting at Wayzata Community Church on Friday evening; Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Plymouth on Saturday; and Maple Grove Lutheran Church and Christ's Community Church on Sunday. Worship on Sunday morning is planned for the Town Green of the City of Maple Grove, MN. |

In addition to learning more about the process of Dwelling in the Word, festival participants will receive a copy of the Dwelling in the Word Handbook, four meals, worship on Friday evening and Sunday and a concert by Jim Johnson on Saturday evening. |

Lodging is not included in the registration fee, however we have reserved a block of rooms at the local Comfort Inn (Plymouth, MN) at a discounted rate of $79/night for the Dwelling Festival. Book by June 7 to qualify for the discounted rate. Please contact them by telephone at (763) 559-1222 and ask for the "Church Innovations" rate to receive the discount.
